Jonathan Trautman was raised in a working class family that frequently moved across Alberta to survive before finally settling down in Calgary by 1999.
Jonathan has been a member of the Communist Party since 2003, and since joining has been active in Anti Racist, Peace movements along with Cuban, Palestinian, Venezuelan, Syrian, Indigenous, and labour solidarity.
