Larry Wasslen spent the majority of his working at both the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and The Ottawa Hospital as an intensive care RN. He is an long time labour activist who led the unionization drive at CHEO, the first Children’s Hospital in Ontario to have a union.
Since retirement Larry has been active in the peace movement launching the Ottawa Peace Council and the Canada wide Peace and Justice network.
Priorities in Ottawa South include housing: The federal govt must build and maintain public housing.
