Jeremy Fisher was born in Saskatoon in 1989 and has lived here his entire life. A former student at the University of Saskatchewan with a working-class background, Jeremy is concerned for the well-being of members in our community. During the pandemic he delivered food and supplies to elderly residents and witnessed how our neo-liberal government failed the most vulnerable. As a member of the Avalon Community Association, he continues to volunteer his time to make life better for his neighborhood. Jeremy joined the Communist Party of Canada after seeing how other progressive parties have failed to improve the lives of working-class people and make substantial gains towards the fight against climate change. If elected, Jeremy wants to take the issues of Indigenous Sovereignty and Land Back to Ottawa to be seriously addressed for concrete actions towards reconciliation. Jeremy is a co-founder of the Louis Riel Communist Party of Canada Club in Saskatoon and is dedicated to working towards building socialism in Canada.
